Waterday Foundation exists to volunteer and donate money — quietly, and to causes we believe in.
Who we are
Waterday Foundation is a privately owned entity that exists to volunteer and donate money. We choose highly efficient, 501c3 charities, that have missions which best align with our mission. Our resources are derived from the success we have had as residents and business people in Central Pennsylvania.
About our name
Our passion for creating this foundation is expressed through the elemental components of our name. Water is critical to life. Time, expressed with the word “day”, is the one thing that none of us have enough of.
Time is precious. With great respect for this truth comes an important question; “if not now, when?” Waterday Foundation is about now, not later. Action, in any positive form and in any level of intensity is where the power to effect positive change exists.
Using Waterday as the foundation name has allowed our family to operate with near anonymity. This is important. We wish only to share a portion of our time and money. We seek no attention or credit. Our drive is to give back. Without anonymity, we believe that we are only building good will. Good will is not as important or as lasting as good works.
What we have done so far
- Reached 2018 charitable funding goal @ $100,000.00, for 2019 charitable giving
- Donated to Vickie’s Angel Foundation
- Donated to Sickle Cell Council
- Donated to Penn State Cancer Institute
- Donated to PA Lyme Resource Network
- Donated to National Multiple Sclerosis Society
- Donated to Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance
Reviewing additional charities for support in other areas of conviction: arthritis, autism and hunger.
